Who am I?
I'm a Computer Science engineering student at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College, Puducherry. I enjoy building backend systems, cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines – taking a simple requirement and turning it into something secure, automated and production-ready.
I started my journey in Electronics (Diploma in ECE), then shifted into Computer Science. That mix helps me think both at hardware & software level – from networking concepts to DevOps pipelines and cybersecurity fundamentals through my Palo Alto Networks virtual internship.
Hands-on exposure
- Completed an 8-week virtual cybersecurity program focusing on modern network security, firewalls, and threat prevention concepts.
- Worked with Palo Alto Networks lab environments to understand firewall policies, security rules, NAT, and basic configuration workflows.
- Analyzed sample attacks & logs, documented findings, and suggested remediation steps based on Zero Trust and best-practice architectures.

Things I've built
Set up a secure web server on Linux using Apache with SSL/TLS encryption. Configured virtual hosts and hardened the server following security best practices like disabling weak protocols, managing certificates and basic hardening.
Containerized a React application, created a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, and troubleshooted build & deployment issues. Simulated a real support environment where uptime and quick fixes are important.
Built an AI-powered ATS Resume Optimizer using Streamlit and Gemini API that reads job descriptions, extracts important keywords, and suggests resume improvements for better ATS compatibility.
Built a cloud-based geospatial early-warning system that uses YOLOv11 and OpenCV to detect glacier boundary changes from images and estimate GLOF risk in near real time. Provides a Streamlit dashboard with Plotly visualizations, multi-user access, and audio alerts to help researchers monitor glaciers and respond quickly to high-risk events.
